Who we are: a Christian ministry serving churches and communities here in the U.S. and in other countries.
Our mission: to advance the kingdom of God by serving and inspiring others, equipping leaders, building better communities and sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the world.
As our name implies, Mustard Tree Mission’s main focus is on foreign missions, taking adults and young people from many different churches and denominations on short-term mission trips. Originally founded in 1997 as Meridian Christian Drama Troupe, we changed the name in 2001 to better reflect the diversity of our ministry.
Traveling mostly to various places in Venezuela, we have held outdoor crusades, ministered in churches, offered free medical & dental clinics, and helped establish churches. We have also worked with orphanages and rehab centers. Our main function is to come along side the local churches and ministries to assist them in their ministries.
In addition to going to Venezuela, we also took a trip to Comayagua, Honduras where we worked with the Ruach International Christian School. This was MTM’s first trip to Honduras and the first Youth Conference ever to be held in the city of Comayagua. God did awesome things!
We have seen the Lord do amazing things in the lives of the precious people of South and Central America. There is such spiritual hunger there and it is an honor to minister to these loving people. God has performed many miracles right before our eyes….healings, salvations, deliverance, even multiplying medicines for the free clinics.

Other than the International Director and the Coordinator in Maracaibo, Venezuela, all work is done by volunteers. Monies donated (unless otherwise designated by the donor) are used to purchase mission supplies such as: medicines, Gospel tracts in Spanish, Gospels of John in Spanish, Christian coloring books, and like materials.
Designated Donations: Persons who go on our mission trips must raise their own funds for the cost of the trip. Donations can be designated to go toward the cost of a particular team member’s trip by putting that person’s name on the “For” line of your check.
