(2012) One of Santa's elves is ready & raring to go! Life Baptist offered their facilities beginning with the Nov. 2015 distribution. In 2015, the Food Pantry got a new home at Haven Chapel. Volunteers brought the boxes out from the Bargain Center in the early years. A volunteer helps a recipient put food into his truck. The first Distribution days were held in the parking lot of the Bargain Center on 8th Street. Long lines formed at Life Church in the years from 2012-2015. Navy Shipmates have been an invaluable help. Dec. 2015. Some of our young volunteers help pack up the bags. We often had live entertainment at Haven Chapel thanks to talented volunteers. Clients pick up food outside Haven Chapel. Navy Shipmates and students from Hope Scholarship & Meridian High helped out at Haven Chapel Dec. 2015.
